When it comes to the comparison of summer tyres, two heavy contenders that come into mind are the Bridgestone Turanza 6 and the Goodyear Efficient Grip Performance 2. Both are known for their high performance and reliability in various conditions. However, data from performed tests provides a clearer insight and understanding of their capabilities.

The Bridgestone Turanza 6, with an overall rating of 83%, is renowned for Dry Handling, having obtained outstanding results in this area. Its objective dry handling and rolling resistance features have been equally applauded by reviews. Moreover, it delivered excellent performance in aspects like Aquaplaning and Interior noise, apparently as per the ADAC test. However, it ranked 13th in the Autobild test, revealing some room for improvement compared to a wider range of competitors. Visibly, Goodyear made no announcements regarding any new model replacing the Efficient Grip Performance 2 anytime soon.

Based on all test data, the Goodyear Efficient Grip Performance 2 slightly wins over the Bridgestone Turanza 6. However, individual preferences and specific needs, such as Dry Handling or Milage, could lean the scale towards either.
